Copper Eagle Cappuccino & Bakery
Copper Eagle Cappuccino & Bakery occupies the bottom floor of a historic two-story building in the heart of downtown Greenwood. Conveniently located right on the highway, this Copper Street gem feels warm and cozy inside, even with its soaring ceilings.
This summer favourite is not open all year, so be sure to hop on Copper Eagle’s brick-and-wood patio while the sun is out to enjoy the view and vibe of “Canada’s Smallest City.” The coffee shop makes great espresso drinks hot and iced and also serves a variety of breakfast items (in the morning) and baked goods (while supplies last).

Rock Creek Trading Post
There are not many trading posts left in British Columbia. And of those remaining, none make a Coffee Milkshake like the one in Rock Creek.
The Rock Creek Trading Post is a true vintage, located across from the fork between Highways 3 and 33. The historic building dates back to 1880, ran initially as a trading post for miners during the region’s Gold Rush. Since 2015, new owners Scott and Shirley Petrie have focused on small-batch roasting fair-trade coffee alongside an array of other coffee and food offerings.

The Wooden Spoon Bistro
If you don’t mind a wait, check out the often-busy Wooden Spoon Bistro & Bake Shop for a delicious sit-down breakfast. The popular joint was launched in 2013 in downtown Grand Forks by Kayla Sebastian and is now part of the pulse of the city.
Inside the Spoon, a quaint and charming ambience perfectly complements eggs, bacon, and freshly brewed coffee. Outside—their patio space is limited—the action and energy of downtown Grand Forks is inspiring.
