Boogie Bash Returns to Rock Creek This August

A weekend of organized events for motorcycle enthusiasts is set to descend on Rock Creek.

With riders from all over British Columbia and the United States in attendance, the adult-only Boogie Bash is slated to include a variety of activities such as Bike Games, Show ’n Shine, Poker Run, Tattoo Contest, and even a Wet T-Shirt Contest—plus live music, merchandise, beer, and food.

The event supports the Society of Injured Riders, a not-for-profit society committed to assisting riders and their families who have been injured and impacted by a motorcycle accident.

“We provide assistance which includes moral support, financial support in the way of gift cards, funds to assist in paying for long stay hospital televisions, paying bills for the family or funds for other expenses, as well as providing referrals for medical equipment or for assistance in navigating insurance difficulties, to name a few,” the organization states online.

Boogie Bash is SIR’s largest fundraising event each year.

This year’s event takes place August 4th through 7th at the Rock Creek Fairgrounds at 3380 Kettle Valley Road South.
