Downtown Brewery Tells Boundary Country to ‘Settle the Fork Down’

After more than three years in the making, passion project Grand Forks Beer Co. became reality in 2022 with an inaugural tap lineup including the famous “Primeval Porter” and a memorable slogan: “Settle the Fork Down!”

This year, the fledging brewing company continues chugging along as it serves up frosty pints of small-batch beverages, featuring seasonal specials.

Grand Forks Beer Co. is a big fan of the area, as made obvious by its name and logo (which references the city’s iconic hike to the summit of Observation Mountain).

“Grand Forks is home for us—a place where life moves at a slower pace, like we think it’s supposed to,” the owners state on their website. “We set out to foster this community around a frosty pint and a place to gather.”

The brewery promises “tons of local flavour.” Find them on Market Avenue in downtown Grand Forks.
