Happy Thanksgiving, British Columbia!

With Pandemic restrictions finally finished choking out the precious social aspect of holidays, it is this year a sincere pleasure to enjoy Thanksgiving with friends and family under normal circumstances.

“Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate the abundance of the fall harvest with family and friends,” stated Premier John Horgan. “We come together to give thanks for the many blessings in our lives.

There are many reasons to be thankful in BC. Horgan noted how “We are fortunate to live in a beautiful province of boundless opportunity.”

The Premier stated in his Thanksgiving address that COVID-19 “reminded us of the importance of the bonds of family and community,” a powerful sentiment. He also encouraged everyone to “respect individual health choices”—a standard that, ironically, was seldom held by the Province over the course of the Pandemic.

“This holiday is a time for sharing and for giving thanks,” Horgan concluded. “To all who are celebrating today’s holiday, best wishes for a happy Thanksgiving.”

Amen!
