UPDATE: As of Friday, June 23, Prospector Pub’s patio is officially open.

Prospector Pub at Rock Creek Hotel is a favourite of locals and passersby alike.
The friendly riverside haunt has long been known by residents of Boundary Country to quietly boast one of the better patios in the area—lush with trees, the patio stretches out onto the iconic Kettle River, setting the mood for an unforgettable meal.
Prospector Pub is busiest during the summer season and the owners are working hard to upgrade the patio experience for all patrons moving forward.

The popular restaurant is installing overhead shelter for roughly half of the patio space, allowing patrons to enjoy meals in the rain or cover from hot sun in the shade. Some tables, such as those situated closest to the river, will remain exposed to the elements.
Construction is actively underway. The patio upgrade is expected to complete by the end of June.
