Cannabis Dispensary Opens in Rock Creek

The Boundary now has another source of cannabis.

Over the summer, the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary approved the opening of a small cannabis dispensary in Rock Creek.

Following approval from the RDKB’s Board of Directors in a July meeting citing no opposition letters from locals, Cahoots Cannabis opened in Rock Creek to patrons in October.

“The RDKB solicited the views of residents and received no letters of opposition,” a summary of the meeting reads. “Due to its location, the proposal is unlikely to negatively affect the Rock Creek community.”

The location of Cahoots is in the heart of town on Highway 3, directly beside Route 3 Printing.

Other businesses in Rock Creek include the Trading Post for espresso-based milkshakes, Prospector Pub for good food and karaoke, and other shops selling everything from antiques to ice cream.

Other Boundary Country cannabis dispensaries include Baggy’s in Greenwood (which recently moved into a newly renovated building) and Grand Forks Cannabis.
