Gladstone Provincial Park Opens April 30 at Christina Lake

Gladstone Provincial Park’s Texas Creek Campground opens for the 2026 season on April 30, running through September 27. The park is located approximately 20 kilometres northeast of Grand Forks on Highway 3 at the north end of Christina Lake.

Texas Creek offers 62 vehicle-accessible campsites including seven double sites. The campground is fully reservable through the BC Parks reservation system at camping.bcparks.ca. When reservations are unavailable, all sites operate first-come, first-served. To check in, refer to the reservation board at the campground entrance for your pre-assigned site number.

To reach the campground, turn onto East Lake Drive from Highway 3 and follow it four kilometres to the end of the road. Most sites are large and shaded by Douglas fir, cedar, larch, and Ponderosa pine with a thick shrub understory for privacy. Roads within the campground are gravel.

The summer nightly fee is $39 per party (June 15 to Labour Day). Off-season rates are $27 per party, with a seniors rate of $13.50 per night until June 14, 2026, rising to $19.50 from September 8 onward. Note that all trails in the park are closed to ATVs and motor vehicles, and trailer storage at the Texas Creek boat launch is limited to 14 days per calendar year.
