In 2022, the Midway Advance reported on plans from the Village to collaborate with West Boundary Community Forest on a local Disc Golf course.
This year, the team completed the course, with enhancements to the course as recently as this month.
Most recently, metal gates accented with gold went up at the Midway Disc Golf & Recreation Area parking lot, whose trails lead to disc golf and hiking on Midway Mountain.
